If you’re new to meditation, Headspace offers a five-minute, guided meditation. If you need them, you will find basic instructions along with the audio. If five minutes seems daunting, start with the one-minute version on the same page.

If you’re looking for a more focused meditation for your child or for you, Headspace also offers meditation for anxiety and meditation for sleep.

YOGA

Yoga Journal is my go-to for a deep dive into yoga poses, correct form, indication and contraindication. These poses boost endorphins, making them perfect for fighting depression.

Prevention and Self also post yoga poses, but they don’t go into as much detail about each individual pose and its benefits. On the other hand, they put the poses together into mini-routines that are tailored to your goals. This routine for depression, on Self.com, is made up of ten poses; it’s gentle enough for a beginner.
